Picture the scene: You’ve spent 6-months and hundreds of hours scrolling all the property sites, scrolling and swiping at pictures and reading descriptions, making small talk with real estate agents and awkward mouth-smiling at the other punters at home-opens while you’ve got way better things to do with your life.
You’ve talked about bathrooms, kitchens and what you could turn the spare room into until you are, frankly, sick to death of talking about it. And come to think of it, you’re sick of looking at pictures and desperately want to buy a bloody home.
To make matters worse, the lease on your rental is coming up for a review and you’re expecting a rent-hike next month. The stress levels are right up there.
But then… you see it.
Could it be?
It is!
It’s just what you’ve been looking for, AND, the offer you make is accepted!
But hold your horses…
You did some doodling and twiddling with a repayment calculator or two, you even chatted with a bank or broker who, because they aren’t geared up to handle capacity (and aren’t independently wealthy so why listen to them?), so asked you to come back when you’ve found a property because they’ve got to pick up the kids, sorry.
Now, like the hopeful 12th-grader who asked the prettiest girl to the ball expecting a no but got a yes, you don’t know what the hell to say or do next.
Panic.
You’ve been reading these newsletters and want me to organise a mortgage for you, my wonderful team of seven swing into action and blow you away with our process, thoroughness and sheer speed.
But wait, your passport is out of date, you are having difficulty getting an employer letter, your tax-return isn’t lodged, your parents promised a gift but hadn’t formalised that with you and need to think about it again, you’ve got a trip to Bali planned next week, you haven’t engaged a settlement agent, you need to get a stat dec to prove change of name, you can’t remember where your marriage certificate is, aaaaannnnd your driver’s licence is out of date.
Worst of all, you never took me up on my offer to coach you on buying a property (or book a call yet), and let the agent hard-talk you into a 21-day finance period. The first 4-days of which were spent stuffing around getting the deposit and proof of payment to the Agent. Another 7-days were taken up getting yourself organised and sending us stuff after hours, we did our job in a day, told you what else we need, then you lost another 5-days because of the Bali trip of school holidays or some excuse and boy oh boy, are you having a shit time.
Doing what we do, I step in and negotiate with the agent for an extension, I help you choose a lender that is going to get the finance ready with the best terms in the shortest time, and we hold your hand right up until the purchase settles.
By the skin of your teeth, you manage to keep the home, but not without a dozen sleepless nights and untold stress.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
Before you begin, remember, YOU’RE BUYING THE MONEY, NOT THE PROPERTY.
Make sense?
When you’re buying a home with money that’s not yours, you need to buy it first. The lender takes the home as collateral, you get to live in it whilst you pay it back.
So if that’s the truth (shocking, I know) wouldn’t it make sense to get that part organised early and up front, BEFORE you do anything else?
Listen, we do business differently to 99% of brokers and leave banks in our dust on every metric. There is no competition if you would compare any bank to what me and the team do for our Clients on strategy, structure, education, service, outcome or price.
We take pride in how we deliver service and results to our valued clients and have the runs on the board and reputation to prove it. Few other brokers enjoy a reputation like ours.
Choose less stress. Choose enjoyment. Choose fun. Choose confidence. Choose sleep.

P.s. have you done a background check on us?? If not, you should. But don’t listen to me, listen to these lovely people.
